Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Half Native baby.

I want to know if i put my baby's dads name on the birth certificate,(he's navajo) that he can legally take the baby from me and live in the reservation with the baby, and i can't get it back

I am not an expert on Indian law, but you could have problems if you list the father. If you do not list the father, he must file for paternity at or before the time of birth, otherwise he will not have legal rights to the child.
