Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Hello,

My mother and father have joint custody of my little brother with my mother being primary custody. My little brother is getting mentally abused by my mother and he wants to live with my dad. I have a protective order against my mother for abuse she has done to me He keeps running away multiple times. He text me that our mom just dropped him off at school and he was running away. I went and got him and took him to DCFS to see if they can help him. When going in I told him to just go in and tell the truth about the physical and mental abuse My mother went to the school officer and convinced him it was all my fault. The school police officer says he is going to press minor interference charges against me and states I coached him to say he was abused and put it in his head to run away which I didn't I took him to DCFS so he wasn't running the streets and could get help for what he is going thru I couldn't get ahold of my dad he was in meetings at work. I didn't want him running the streets. Can the police officer really make these charges stick and get me in trouble for helping my brother

You shouldn't be in trouble for what you've done. If anything happens you definitely should get an attorney. You should have your dad get a protective order for your brother. If you're an adult, you could do the same.
