Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Hi,

my name is Nora Love I'm from Congo, and I have been in the US for almost 8 months.

I'm married to an american citizen, and we live together since I came here. My problem is that we are having hard time with communication and all the stuff in our marriage right now. Ok I will be specific, my husband and I don't talk anymore because as well as I know, in a marriage the husband and wife need to be like best friends... Last week I found some X videos in my husbands phone and I was so mad at him, so I decided to take his headphones and cut them. So taken of rage, he had me slap like a child. My all face resembled like a hell. I want to divorce him, but I can't because I'm afraid that I can't stay in the US if I do it. What do you think can happen to me? Please answer me as quick as possible, and sorry for being so long.

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties with your husband. First of all, you should call the police whenever anything like that happens.
