Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My husband currently pays child support from a previous relationship. We recently filed taxes together for the first time and I would like to know if our "joint" income will change the amount of child support that he pays monthly.

Generally child support is limited to the income of the parent, and the spouse's income is not considered. However, there are courts that depart from this practice and may consider the income from both parents.
