Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

what do I do?

my ex husband had sole custody of our daughter, he committed suicide a few days ago..our daughter is with his sister right now, I'm trying to move as quickly as possible ( within a few weeks from CO to UT) they want me to go to a lawyer with them this saturday to give them some kind of guardianship whether it be temporary or otherwise...im scared and have no money for a lawyer and dont know what to do, i dont want to lose my daughter...she's 6. please help, i leave for utah early tomorrow morning.

You should have the right to get custody of your daughter yourself. DO NOT sign any documents until you have someone evaluate whether you are entitled and capable of caring for your daughter. You may call for a free consultation.
