Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I was involved in a domestic violence dispute with my husband, I kicked him out, he violated a protective order twice, DCFS in Utah stepped in and gave me full custody with visitation to my soon to be ex husband. When I get a divorce can the divorce judge step in and overthrow what DCFS in Utah ruled as far as custody. I'm concerned that he will get joint custody and have more rights and visitations.

There is always a risk of the district court judge not following the juvenile court judge. You should consider having an attorney make sure the divorce judge gets properly educated.

You may call for a free consultation.
