Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

What is a lifetime protective order ? It is what my ex wife has said she has on me. I can not see my daughter without going through a visitation center because I cannot call or go to the house.I have no money left for an attorney and need to know what to do.Thank You

There is no such thing as a "lifetime" protective order. They are called "permanent" protective orders but that too is a misnomer. If it has been more than 2 years since the protective order was entered, you can file a motion to have it dismissed. Also, you can file a petition to modify certain provisions to make the exercise of your parent time easier.
