Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

After long discussions, my children have decided that they want to be adopted by their step-dad. i have agreed to relinquish my parental rights. i need to know what i have to do next. my children live in italy and i am in utah. is there a way this can be handled without my ex having to come to the hearing?

If the step parent adoption is to take place in Utah, then yes, she would need to be in attendance at the court hearing as well as her husband.
