Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

i just got married and my husband wants to adopt my daughter. on the birth certificate it states that we don't know who the biological father is so what steps do i need to take so my husband can adopt my daughter?

I'm assuming you know who the biological father is. You should check with the state registry to see if he filed an acknowledgment of paternity with the state. If he did, you will need to give him notice of the adoption. If he didn't, you don't need to give him notice.
