Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
Married for 31 years. I have been verbally and physically abused in this marriage for years. For the first time in my life I dont need to worry about anyone other than my dogs. Time to move on. Spouse will not put house on the market. Each time I bring up he threaten me. Question in the State of Utah if I walk away from this house that my name is on the mortgage/deed and then goes in foreclosure can Utah put a judgment against me with my work?

Do not walk away from the house. File for a divorce and have your attorney request temporary orders, including an order of support (so you have income) and an order requiring the sale of the house.
