Re: Mother plans trips for kids in fathers time
You options are to (1) go t0 court and ask for an order of specific visitation; (2) negotiate an specific agreement with the ex, reduce it to writing and file it with the court; (3) file a contempt action against her for violating previous orders; or (4) move for custody of the children. Your husband has a right and a duty to stay as close to his children as possible. Best would be to live near them and see them often. Even if your husband has problems, such as late child support, he is legally entitled to visitation. Do not succumb to her threats and make it clear to her that he is going to be their father regardless. The best defense is a good offense. Unfortunately it is also expensive, but the children are worth the investment. Good luck.
