Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
notice to appear in court
what is the time frame needed and how should notice be given to appear in court over dispute of day care expenses.
if the divorce decree is written that notice should be given before child is taken to day care, and no notice is given, is the both parents responsible for half of the day care costs.

Re: notice to appear in court
One files a motion requesting the court for an "order to show cause" asking for the relief that you want, and including an affidavit giving the reasons. The court sets a court date and then one sends notice of the court date and copies of all the papers filed with the court. The court will probably find that if the day care is reasonable (custodial parent had to work, take another child to the Dr. etc), then the parties should share the costs.
