Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Parental Abduction

My kids were abducted by the custodial--name removed-- Missing. Police said it was criminal and told me to wait 30 days then said it was civil and to take it to court. I already had court orders. I'm joint legal custodian and had to spend $12k to find my own children. NMECN's attorney gave me lots of laws and I don't see any of them being upheld in my case.

I want to meet others who have had this happen.

Please post if you have clients that may be interrested in forming an advocacy and support group for--name removed--parents, or if your willing to help start one and give free legal assistance. Legal Aid and Utah legal will not take these cases.

Re: Parental Abduction

I sympathize with your plight, but as an attorney it's not my position to form any kind of advocacy group. That is certainly something that you, as an interested party could do. Also, I do have clients who experience the same problems but I'm not at liberty to disclose or provide their names or contact information since it is confidential. Good Luck
