parental rights for unmarried parents
My sister in law is 17 and she got pregnant by a navajo and he is telling her since they are not getting married that when the baby is born he/she becomes his and she has no say in the matter. That it's the law that because the baby is part indian he has all the right to the baby and she has non once the baby is born. Please tell me this is not true. please email me back as soon as you can.

This is not true. I assume your sister in law is a non-Navajo. She can get a protective order if she beleives that he will attempt to take the child.
