Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Parents Divorce

My step dad says that he is going to try and get money from my mom for all

home repairs he did while they were married. They were married three years.

And lived in my moms house. Can he really do this? Most of repair ideas were

his, and my mom paid for all of the supplies.

Sincerely,

Re: Parents Divorce

Probably not. Married people usually perform all sorts of tasks around the house, including repairs, but they don't usually keep a score card of what they've done. The court doesn't usually reimburse them for the kind of work you're talking about.
