Hi my name is Patricia I have a 11 month daughter and a husband. My question is the babys father who has never been in her life and who has never paid anything towards her and I would like to know is it possible to have my husband adopt my daughter? Please let me know what I can do.

That decision is up to you and your present husband. You and your present husband file for the adoption and the birth father may consent. The process is fairly simple.

You and your husband can do a step parent adoption which will include, as part of the process, getting the birth father's consent.
