if a phone conversation was recorded with only one party knowing that the conversation was recorded, can that recording be used in a custody hearing if the party addmitted he was using illegal drugs

It can be used in a custody hearing, you can also turn it over to the prosecuting attorney to see if they are interested in the criminal ramifications. If drugs were usedin the presence of any minor children, you can give a copy to DCFS and they may want to investigate as well.
