Re: Playing with the kid's heads

Most divorce decrees include language which prevents a parent from involving the children in the divorce proceedings or the consequences therefrom. You can apply to the court for a contempt of court against your husband and move for sanctions, which could include limitind or stopping his visitation until his behavior changes. This kind of behavior is forbidden and it does a great deal of harm to the children, who are the innocent victims of their parents' problems. Warn your husband that if the behavior does not stop immediately that you will file for a protective order on behalf of the children and will sue him for contempt of court, including asking attorney fees and other sanctions against him. Tell him that he can either pay the money ordered by the court and quit complaining or go back to court for a modification (which you will oppose and respond for a request for more money), but to keep the children out of it.
