Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Post Nuptial Agreement

My husband and I signed a post-nuptial agreement approximately 3 weeks after we were married (Dec 24 2001), I have since found out that when we got married on 12-24-01 he was still legally married to his 2nd wife, and that marrriage was not officially annulled until about 2 weeks after the signing of the post-nuptial agreement, (5 weeks after the marriage). Does this make our marriage legal or not and is the post-nuptial legal or not? My husband was fully aware that he was still legally married to his 2nd wife, I was not aware of that fact.

Re: Post Nuptial Agreement

Your marriage is not valid because it was illegal at the time. Even if it was valid, you could have it annulled because of his fraud. The post nuptial is probably also not valid because of his fraud. A word of advice: Why would you want to be married to someone who is so dishonest? If he lies about this, what else is he lying about? You should take some time and carefully consider your situation.
