My older brother is going though a divorce. His Ex-wife has given all his tools to her father. He is a mecanic and uses the tools amost daily. My question is can she keep the tools and just give them away to her father when they are in the prosess of geting a divorce?

If the tools are community property she cannot give them away as she only owns one half of them. However, if the tools belong to her dad she could return them to her dad. A motion to make his wife get the tools back from her dad would be the thing to do.
