Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

So many questions...

My divorce decree states my ex has limited, supervised visits. What kind of schedule do I have to legally abide by?

He is in prison (5th time) in another state, demanding visits. What are his rights as an incarcerated-father? Will a judge make me take my kids to a prison for visits?

If he gives up his rights does he still owe the arrearage to date or is it all cleared with his rights?

Re: So many questions...

You are not required to take the children to another state, or to a prison so he can see the children. He has the right to come to where the children live and there visit the children with an appropriate supervisor present. Unless set forth in a court order, he may have a reasonable amount of time - which you can determine based on the ages of the children and the general facts of your case. If he gives up his parental rights he will still owe past due child support - ongoing child support may or may not continue.
