Remarriage

I am paying child support right now to a woman that I never married. There is one child involved. What if the her new husband wants to adopt the child? Do I still need to pay child support? I have never been in the child's life or the woman's life other than one night. I dont want anything to do with them. How can that happen?

If the new husband wants to adopt the child your support obligation would cease.
