How to respond to a spouse that has a protective order against the other spouse?

I want to be able to communicate with my wife that has had a protective order against me for two months. She is allowing her boyfriend to supervise my visits with are 1yr old Boy. She has not filed for divorce or have I. How should I go about speaking to her without violating her protection order?

Without knowing the terms of the protective order I cannot respond. The protective order can be modified, and you can file a request for modification of the protective order. It is not uncommon for women to use protective orders to gain unfair leverage over their former partners. You should seek the advice of an attorney.
