My rights

My qeustion is I've got a 15 yearold daughter that is involed in the court system right now and the judge ordered family interventin from state socail services. Since they've came to my home my 14 yarold daughter had bad out bust will they were in my home and he said it might be wise for both of my girls out the home , but since this we've found out that our 14 yearold is BI-POLAR and this the reason for here out burst. so my question is there any way they can take my 14 yearold ? She is now medication for her condition and invo;ved in day treatment program

You will want to convince Social Services that the following are all true: (1) your 15 year old is now stable and under control and getting proper treatment; (2) the 15 year old is not a danger or risk to anyone else; (3) your home is a proper and safe environment for your other children; (4) your children are better off in your home than anywhere else.

Note: you will have to continually monitor your 15 year old. It is common that people quit taking their medication once they "feel better." For bipolar problems she will probably be on her medications for life. Good luck
