can i sign over my rights of my baby to my girlfirend temperarly becase in april i might have to spend 90 days in jail and the babys mother has a drug problem so i wouldn't feel safe leaving her with her mother

If you have custody of your child, yes, you can sign a power of attorney which would give your girlfriend what amounts to a six month guardianship which would allow and authorize her to care for your child. If you need help with that, please feel free to give me a call at 801-274-3100.
