Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Signing over paternity

I am divorced and have an 11 yr old daughter, which I have sole custody. the bio father has tramatized my child to the point that she has seen therapists and struggles with depression daily. He is supposed to see her every other weekend friday thru sunday, but she can only handle going one day friday to sat afternoon. He has a new baby on the way if he signs over paternity and I have a partner that wishes to adopt her what process do I go through. I dont care about the child support, I am heart broken seeing my daughter cry bx of things that has happened in the past. He wasnt there the 1st 3 years of her life and in 4.5 years of marriage has caused great deal of emotional harm to her. I dont like the constant battle over money or the neglect my childs experience. I need this too end.
