Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Slander
My son (30 years old) is writing lies about our family on websites and message boards. It is mostly about my husband and me. He is saying he was beaten with a belt and made to work when he was 8 years old. I have two other children that know this did not happen. He then tells family members and our friends to read the stories and to look at the websites.
This has been going on for years. He has caused so much grief in our family. Is there anything I can do?
My husband drank 25 years ago, never in front of my children. My son tells everyone he is a drunk that beat him when he was drinking
He has already ruined our lives with his stories. I have been with my husband for 31 years. If he was abusive I would not have stayed married to him.
Family that live far away from us and we are just getting to know. My son will call them and have them look at the website and message boards, we never hear from them again. The damage has already been done, but if there is anyway I can put an end to it, it would help.

Re: Slander

You can get an injunction against your son for defamation of character. You will need to go to court to get this.
