Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

my son

my ex had the legal rights to my children taken away from me so her new husband could adopt them. He never did and now she is getting a divorce. she let my son live with me for the last six months and now she is trying to cut me off from my kids. My son still wants to live with me. Will I get in legal trouble if I allow him to stay with me.

If you waived your parental rights and your rights of visitation, you will have to have them reinstated before you can have legal custody. Your ex can have you cited for custodial interference if she gets angry with you. Get your rights reinstated.
