Son getting Married

If my 17 year old son's father consents to him getting married, Am I as the Mother still legally responsible for my son or is his 31 year old wife?

Because of the age difference you may want to contact the Utah Department of Child and Family Services in you area, especially if the 31 year old has a position of authority or influence in your son's life.

Otherwise, you son will be considered emancipated upon marriage and he will be responsible for himself.
