Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

my son has recieved divorce papers and he doesnt want to sign them because he as several mental

dissibalites he is going through voch rehab and they are paying for school and his meds. and couseling.He wants to know is he can defer his payments of child support until he is finished with school which will be one year.

He probably can't defer child support but the amount he pays should be small in light of his condition.
