Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

special masters

i am in the process of divorce, a high conflict divorce, a special master has been appointed . to help with decisions regarding our two children. typically what is the intended role of the master ? and the typical out come of custody arrangements when one is involved? every meeting i have had with him he seems to be trying to provoke me and does not seem to be objective in his actions. we have gone thru a custody eval, and both found to be fit parents and the stipulation from the settlement conference allowed for split physical custody with both parents having substantially equal time , at this time my daughters spend 6 out of 14 nights at my home , this results in 35% / 65 % split parent time , i have challenged this wanting the 50 / 50 split . at the hearing it was agreed to. and he smiled walked out of the court room and still will not implement the 50 / 50 split. he has a classic passive aggressive demeanor and i feel at a dis advantage. he has recently informed me that i must attend church every weekend with my daughters, i am an active member of my church but do not attend regularly. is he allowed this much control over my day to day interactions with my daughters ? our divorce is quickly approaching final status and i feel
