Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My ex wants to know what I spend money on.

My kids are well taken care of, have plenty of food, clothes, toys, and adequate housing. My ex is $9,000 behind in child support, but is paying now. I make about double his salary and he wants to initiate a ''right of discovery'' as he calls it and look at my bank account to see what I spend my money on. Is this legal? Don't I have privacy? I can see this happening if my children were being neglected, but in this case its opposite, they have more than they need. Do I need to be worried about this, or is this just an attempt to bully me?

He has no right to see your expenses. Since he is delinquent he may be at risk for aggressive collection actions, such as garnishment, seizure of his tax returns and other sanctions. Apparently he is a bully. Don;t give him anything without a court order, unless it is required in your divorce decree.
