Spouse leaving

My spouse and I have been seperated for two years and I have filed for divorce and have had sent her divorce papers in the mail she has not return them and I have had her served but she lives in a remote location where the county police who served her do not go all the time and when they do go out there she is never there to be served how do i complete the divorce if she never responds to the summons?

You have several choices. First hire or have a person over age 18 drive to her place and serve the papers on her. That person will need to fill out a proof of service form and sign it in front of a notary public. (Service is not required by a sheriff.) Second ask her to sign and return an acknowledgement of service and waiver of process form. Third sent a copy of the summons and petition by certified mail, return receipt. If these all fail, then petition the court to allow service by publication in a local paper.
