ssi/divorce

I,m on permanent dissability through ssi. $1850mth. Each child gets $400.00 Per month.She works full time and nets $1.000 per month. She is collecting $800.00 from the combined income from the children. Can she go after child support off of my ssi for my daughter?

Your question is a little unclear. You mention $400 per month being paid for "children" resulting in a payment of $800 per month to your ex, so I'm assuming there are two children involved. Later you mention ssi for your daughter. Is this an additional child? In any event, if your sole source of income is SSI and your dependents receive dependent benefits, that is what the other parent will receive in the form of child support. She can't get both the dependent benefits AND child support.
