Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Which state has jurisdiction

My divorce was issued in Nevada. My ex and kids live in Utah. I live in Arizona. I want to not only reduce the child support, I'd like custody of my daughter, as she is being neglected/abused by my ex wife. Where do I start?

Re: Which state has jurisdiction

Under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act your suit will have to be filed in Utah, near where the children live. Adjusting child support is easy, a custody change could involve a custody evaluation, which may cost $3-5000 depending on all facts.
