Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
Summer visitation
My husband has custody of his 11yr old son. The boy's mother wants to take him for her summer visition from July 17 through August 14. The guidelines state she gets ''up to four weeks consecutive during the summer, with 2 weeks uninterrupted time and the remaining two weeks shall be subject to parent-time for the custodial parent consistant with these guidelines;'' What are the guidelines? My husband thinks he should get a visitation from Friday August 4 through Sunday August 6, then have him home Friday Aug. 11 seeing as how that would be our normal weekend time. Her normal weekend visitation is July 19-July 25, August 2-August 6. The visitation we have set up is every other weekend beginning Wednesday through Sunday. I told him I do not think we would get both weekends for visitation in August but he disagrees. Please help!

Re: Summer visitation
The ex gets 2 continual weeks, then your husband may have a weekend, then the child returns to his mother for another two weeks. OR they may agree on any other formula - the ex gets a total of four weeks, and takes it in 2 week blocks, or as they otherwise agree.
