Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
Support Order
Ihave an Order of Support which includes amounts for on-going support, as well as back support. ORS is collecting these amounts for me, however, there are items in the Order that they will not collect for me. He is not paying anything outside of what ORS is collecting, so he just gets further and further behind every month. A large portion of the money he owes me is for child support which began 18 months ago. ORS is only collecting $50/month of my back support, which is letting him pay me back at the rate of 1 month of payments being repaid over 1 years time. I can not get a straight answer from ORS. I can not afford to go back to court, is there something else I can do?

Re: Support Order
If you already have a judgment for the amounts owed, for which ORS is not collecting, you can garnish his wages, bank account or have the sheriff sieze and sell his assets. You will need to file the garnishment etc. under the case number of your judgment.
