who gets who on taxes
who should claim my daughter in taxes after the divorce? i heard it should only be every other year only if we share the child for extended time in the year.

This is usually agreed to in settlement. It can depend on a number of factors, who is the primary caretaker, who can make the best use of it (who has the greater taxable income). Generally, with one child the parents alternate years, but you can agree to anything which you want.
