unsealing birth records to prove native american heritage
My mother was adopted from utah, and wants to prove that she is native american. Her father is/was... She would like to prove it to put me through college... how do you unseal birth records?

She needs to file a petition with the court to unseal the records. It is a difficult process. Would DNA testing assist in getting her identification? She may also search out some of the websites where parents and their children seek each other out.
