Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Utah minimum visitation

Does custodial parent get child same times during weekend holidays that noncustodial does?

I will be noncustodial. It says holiday overrides regular weekends.

If a holiday falls on noncustodial weekend (like Labor Day) will custodial get her like the code says, Friday at 6 until Mon at 7? Or does this just pertain to me because I don't see her as much?

I hate the thought that even more of my time with her will be taken away due to a holiday. He works anyways on most holidays. She will end up alone cuz he won't let her be with me. He'd rather she be alone than with me. He is punishing me for leaving.

I want to make sure I understand the code clearly. My lawyer doesn't seem to understand very clearly. Is there any documentation that explains it any more clearly?

Re: Utah minimum visitation

Your lawyer should learn and explain this to you. Holidays take priority over regular weekends. The times and dates are for minimum visitation - you may be entitled to more than minimum. If the child is not with the custodial parent, then the other parent should have visitation rather than leave the child alone or with a sitter.
