You can get the divorce here, and agree as a part of the divorce to sell the property in India and divide the proceeds - or make arrangements for one of you to buy out the other person's interest.

You won't have to wait to sell the property before filing for divorce. While the Utah courts do no have jurisdiction over the property itself, it does have jurisdiction over you and your husband and, as part of the divorce decree, it can enter orders directing the two of you how to handle the disposition of that property. I hope what I'm explaining makes sense. If you would like, I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your matter in more detail. Thank you.
