Visitation and joint custody

My husband has joint custody his ex wife has went and put his daughter on ritalin and taken her to a psyhcaitrist with out consulting with him first can he do anything about it? Also she is trying to tell him what we can and cant pick the kids up in he is a long haul truck driver he is in the area where they live or 1 hr away and she fights with him on him picking up the kids. She told him he is no longer able to pick the kids up in the semi when he is in the area she wants the step mom to drive 116 miles half way to pick them up instead of letting him get them when he is already near them. They still live in the same state is she able to do this?

Her actions are not justified under the law. Your husband should file an order to show cause why she is not held in contempt of court, and ask for sanctions including your husband's attorney fees.
