Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My wife filed a divorce petition. I answered it and contested but still want the divorce. She is now dropping the divorce what do I do?

If the case hasn't been dismissed yet, you would need to file a motion with the court asking permission to amend your pleadings so you can file and Answer and Counter-Petition for Divorce so you can pursue it. Otherwise, if it has been dismissed, you would need to file a new case yourself as the Petitioner and start over again.
