Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
My soon to be ex wife won't sign the divorce papers unless i give up all rights to my kid she doesn't want me to see/talk to my baby .I want this over and done with i can't afford $1650.00 $600.00 for child support ,1000 for alimony . I got out of the Marine corps and now i'm only making 850 in a good month . She also took my child out of state (about 10 hours) away( is there anyway the judge can make her move back ? .She wants to live off what i give her and the state of California for 3 or more years so she can finish nursing school. She wont let me see my baby. I don't mind paying the child support because i love my baby.We were only married 3,1/2 years ,can she get half of my retirement ,when i was the only one putting money in .what can i do ??

You should not sign those papers. You should file an answer to her Petition for Divorce, and include what you want. By law child support is based on your incomes and number of children. Alimony is based on income and debts. If you earn minimum wage your child support would be a small amount. She is not entitled to half of your retirement, You need to fight this.
