Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My wife has been spending time with a man that has just gotten out of prison and is on parole. He was sent there for beating someone up with a baseball bat. On top of that, he has gang affiliations. Do I have the right to restrict her from bringing my kids around this man?

Not only do you have the right but the obligation to protect your children. If needed you can get a children's protective order at the nearest juvenile court restricting your wife from taking the children near this person. If there is a divorce that is occurring you should seek competent legal advice to get additional protections for the children.
