no one will let me speak to my children!!!!

i am currently going thru a custody battle for my 2 children. they were placed in an adoption home by thier mother who signed away all rights and responsiblites with out me knowing util i got served with papers. now it seems like they arent even my children any more i dont know who has them and i cannot speak to them...why????? i should have a hearing coming up for custody in the next couple of weeks but i want to speak to my kids and i dont know why i dont have that right! what should i do????

You will have to talk to the adoption agency, to the Division of Child and Family Services and the present home in which the children are. If you have a pending hearing, you will be discussing the adoption and visitation at that time. You should have an attorney help you.
