Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I was just wondering what my options are. My wife recently went to North Carolina to visit family. Except for the fact that she has abandoned us and has not came home. She won't talk to me, and only calls the kids to talk to them. I don't know what to do because I want to have custody of the children no matter what happens. I don't want them to leave the state. I need to know what to do.

I would file for divorce and get a temporary order in place so she can't take the kids.
