Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah
I have an adult stepson that I had removed once several years ago back living in our house who refuses to leave. Circumstances that let him back into the house is that he was unemployed being evicted from where he was staying at the time and came down with a severe case of strep throat. I don't know if the court order I got last time is valid being we let him back into the house. He doesn't contribute to the household uses all our resources, He's been asked/told to get out but doesn't move. I've been told that because he's a relative and has lived in this house I can not just throw his stuff out of the house to entice him to leave. His mother has told him to leave and all he does is ignore her. I'm afraid I might do something that will get me in trouble can you help

You need to be careful not to do anything rash. Give the boy 3 days notice to leave. If he does not leave, file for an order from the court to get him evicted. Go to your local court to get some forms to file for the court action.
