Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah
Civil judgement
If you owe a civil judgement and the person you are ordered to pay dies, is their spouse automatically entitled to collect the judgement? And if so, what documentation does the spouse need to provide to collect on the deceased behalf?

Re: Civil judgement
The judgment belongs to the deceased's estate. The wife can and probably would be appointed personal representative, then can collect on the judgment. You may call for a free consultation.
