Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Utah
My daughter had a boy grab her crotch at school. The police officer did not report it to the department of child and family services (which is the law in Utah). She told us that no crime was committed because it was not illegal to grab a girls crotch. The school has been very unwilling to do anything about sexual harassment in the school. What can I as a parent do? My daughter knows many girls who are now hurting themselves because of sexual harassment at school. They don't tell because they know they won't be believed.

As the parent bring this to the attention of the principle and the administrator for the school district. If you can find other victim's get their parents involved. Parents can drive results. If you do not get results then take the issue to the news media.
